Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The integrated drag & drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your personal computer and the web hosting server. Just select the file that you want to upload from your desktop computer and then drag it over to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop PC. Besides, you can download files and even folders to your hard disk by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one single mouse click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can modify your files without difficulty. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or update its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you will be able to pack and unpack all types of files. It does work surprisingly fast - just select the files you wish to archive and click the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you really do not need any external tools in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact appear online. Plus, you will find an array of in-built file editors, which will give you complete command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more proficient individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced users.
